Lifeline Continuing Education

My name is Martin Keller! Welcome to our LifelineCE family! I am currently a Registered Respiratory Therapist and have been practicing in Southern California since 2011. I have spent several years training at different hospitals in a pursuit to increase my knowledge base, skillset, and management of respiratory-related illnesses and interventions. I have experience with traumas, pediatrics, intensive care, oncology, emergency care, and a few other specialties I have encountered along my journey. Much of my time in the respiratory field has been dedicated to training and educating students, new respiratory therapists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure that the care we provide not only prolongs the life of our patients, but increases the quality of life in the interim. Lifeline CE is the result of a decades long journey in the medical field as practitioner and educator. At Montefino Ventilator Training I worked as an educator, trainer and consultant for some of the largest home health organizations in the country. My role was to train nurses that would be responsible for caring for trach vent dependent patients. Through my expertise I was able to take the anxiety that these healthcare professionals commonly felt and turn that into confidence and excitement all through education and hands-on training. It was because of this experience that I discovered my love and talent for teaching. At Concorde Career College I worked in both the clinical setting as well as the classroom. Specifically, I taught respiratory students basic to advanced topics on mechanical ventilation both invasive and noninvasive. Additionally, I was responsible for teaching my students not only about acid base balance and ABG interpretation but how to correct ABG’s for those patients on artificial respirators. I hope that you will find our website not only as your go to place for continuing education but as we evolve to be your resource for common questions that arise in a field that is changing and evolving every day. At Lifeline CE our goal is to take topics that some may find complex or intimidating and present them in a way that is palatable, concise and practical to your day-to-day work with our patients.

My name is Marc Eclar, I am currently a Respiratory Therapist working in Southern California. I have been a licensed Respiratory Therapist since 2013. Immediately after completing my associate's degree, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy which I completed in 2014. The ability to work collaboratively with my fellow respiratory therapists, doctors, nurses, and patients has been a truly rewarding experience. My overall goal is to continue expanding my knowledge and utilize the learning experiences I have gained along the way to better help serve the medical community.
